North-West College (NWC) Prepares to Move Campus to Anaheim, California

ANAHEIM, Calif.—As part of its continued commitment to providing quality education programs throughout Southern California, North-West College (NWC) recently remodeled a beautiful facility located at 511 North Brookhurst Street in the city of Anaheim, which will house the College’s Santa Ana Campus beginning in late May. Currently at 1840 East 17th Street, NWC has served the students and community of Santa Ana for more than five years, and will continue its mission to train individuals in short-term programs for gainful employment from its new Anaheim campus.

Glendale Career College (GCC) To Recognize New Graduates at Its Spring Commencement Ceremony

GLENDALE, Calif.—Sunday, April 7 will mark the culmination of many months of rigorous career training for 110 Glendale Career College (GCC) graduates as they join more than 300 North-West College (NWC) graduates at the Spring Commencement Ceremony. Family, friends and Team Members will gather at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium to celebrate this significant event and honor these individuals’ remarkable educational achievements. Dr. Michale McComis, Executive Director of the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), will address the graduates—encouraging them to continue to pursue their goals as they step into a brighter future.

North-West College (NWC) Plans to Honor More Than 400 Graduates at Its Spring Commencement Ceremony

WEST COVINA, Calif.—For 410 graduates, Sunday, April 7 will serve as the culmination of many months of rigorous study and training as they cross the stage at North-West College’s (NWC) Spring Commencement Ceremony. To be held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, the event will bring together family members, friends and Team Members—all eager to celebrate this significant moment for these graduates. Attendees will also have the honor of hearing from Keynote Speaker Dr. Michale McComis, Executive Director of the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), as he recognizes the accomplishments these individuals have made in their educational journey.

Glendale Career College Makes It Possible for More Than 300 Former Brightwood College Nursing Students to Finish Their Studies Following School Closure

GLENDALE, Calif.—More than three hundred nursing students in San Diego are breathing easier after learning they will be able to transfer to Glendale Career College (GCC) to complete their nursing programs, following the closure of their previous school, Brightwood College. Several weeks ago these student faced an uncertain future after Brightwood’s parent company, Education Corporation of America, announced it was shutting down its schools nationwide—citing its loss of accreditation and ongoing financial challenges.

CAPPS Honors North-West College Student Mary Smith with 2018 Norma Ford Memorial Scholarship

LONG BEACH, Calif.—The California Association of Private Postsecondary Schools (CAPPS) recently recognized North-West College (NWC) student Mary Smith as the recipient of the 2018 Norma Ford Memorial Scholarship. Open to nursing students at any CAPPS member school, the award honors the late Norma Ford’s more than 28 years of service in the private career school sector.

SEC President Mitchell Fuerst Knighted as Part of the Royal Order of Constantine the Great

WEST COVINA, Calif.—In recognition of his many professional and personal achievements, Success Education Colleges President Mitchell Fuerst was appointed a Knight of the Order of Constantine the Great and Saint Helen. An alumna of the College’s Vocational Nursing program, Joiner will participate in a panel of ACCSC-accredited institution graduates moderated by ACCSC Executive Director Dr. MichaleMcComis.

SEC President Mitchell Fuerst Elected to Adventist Health Glendale’s Governing Board

GLENDALE, Calif.—In recognition of his longtime commitment to providing quality allied health training programs, Success Education Colleges President Mitchell Fuerst recently joined Adventist Health Glendale’s (AHGL) Board of Governors. Comprised of more than 15 local business leaders, along with several physicians on staff at AHGL, the board provides oversight for the largest medical center in the San Fernando Valley.

GLENDALE, Calif.—Forty nursing students now eagerly await their graduation from Glendale Career College (GCC)after they transferred to GCC following the closure of their previous school, Shepherd University. Upon learning of Shepherd’s closure in late 2017, Glendale Career College assembled an executive team to meet with Shepherd’s nursing students and explore the potential for them to join GCC’s Registered Nursing program.
